Conversational in. Structured knowledge out.
The implemented Phase 1 pathway asks focused questions about jurisdiction, zoning, construction, Fire review, occupancy, inspections and licensing, then builds an inspectable readiness picture from the answers. The tool advises; the authority having jurisdiction decides.
Change an answer. Watch the chain re-evaluate.
Six checkpoints, resolved in dependency order. Set Fire review to “not yet” and everything downstream is blocked; set it to “I don’t know” and the pathway refuses to assess rather than guessing. Those are different outcomes, and keeping them different is the point.
Reported is not the same as proven. Every state above is what you have told the system, and the output labels it that way until a document says otherwise.

Three steps, in this order, every time.
- 01
Share what you know
A guided conversation captures the jurisdiction and the reported state of zoning, construction, Fire review, inspections, occupancy and licensing. "I don’t know" is recorded as a fact in its own right, not as a gap to be guessed at.
- 02
Build the pathway
Checkpoints are evaluated in dependency order. Self-reported progress is held apart from proof, and a requirement that blocks a later step is shown blocking it rather than quietly reordering the list.
- 03
Inspect the output
You receive an advisory outcome, the first next actions, and the source record behind every checkpoint — publisher, locator, retrieval date and human-validation history.
Every checkpoint can be traced back.
A readiness answer is only worth what its source is worth, so the source travels with it. Nothing is summarized from memory and nothing is reconstructed after the fact — the record is captured when the requirement enters the system, and it is on screen rather than behind a citation link.
If a source has not been human-validated, the checkpoint that depends on it says so instead of presenting itself as settled.

What Permit Intelligence is not.
Said plainly, because a compliance tool that is vague about its own limits is the problem it claims to solve.
It is not a permit
No submission is made and no fee is paid on your behalf. The filing is still yours to do.
It is not an approval
A green checkpoint means you reported it complete, or the pathway found nothing blocking it — not that anyone has signed anything.
It is not a determination
Where the requirement is ambiguous, the tool says so and points at the source rather than picking an interpretation for you.
It is not national
Phase 1 is one jurisdiction. Anything outside Kennesaw small-commercial occupancy is out of scope and the tool will tell you so.
Tell us your jurisdiction.
The controlled Phase 1 pilot is Kennesaw only. If you work somewhere else, say so anyway — where people ask from is how the next jurisdiction gets chosen, and you’ll hear first when it opens.
